    tc throttle body

    I got told the other day that the tc throttle body is ristrictive just want to no if that is true??? all so if i put solid lifters in on standerd cams would i get any gains on a c20xe???

    TC throttle is same size as normal one, i imagine its invisible to airflow when cranked open

    solid lifters on standard cams, yes you will gain some clattering from the valve train

    Solids on a hydraulic cam? You'd need a damned good reason for that as there are a bunch of disadvantages, such as
    Noise
    Having to set the clearances
    Reduced lift and duration because of the clearances
    Reduced life due to the lack of clearance/take up ramps
    etc

    Much better in every way to use the hydraulic lifters they were designed to work with.
