Alrite...i have a turbo off of an astra vxr and was wondering if i could put it on to my gsi (Z20LET) without needing a remap? I plan on getting a vxr afm and injectors at some point but my standard z20let turbo is making a funny buzzing sound when coming off the throttle so was wondering if i could put the vxr turbo straight on?

yes you can go onto courtenay sport website and they have a pdf fitting guide. you just have to back the actuator off until 5mm is showing otherwise your ecu will go into limp mode. you will need to use your z20let water feed as they are different from vxr engines.
contrary to 'street talk', the performance between the 2 turbos is virtually identical, so no remap is required.

Just read it there...it says that it will not ned a remap for standard cars. Mines remaped and has a collins 31 actuator. Do i still set the actuator back 5mm then?
you should be safe enough to match the boost with the vxr unit, only reasons people change to vxr as they can make more boost than the z20let so in turn more power/torque and supposed to be stronger units the latter part i dont agree with
