    Play in C20LET Turbo Housing - Repairable?

    hi all just getting to the end of putting a c20let in a mk1 cavalier was gona be fired up on sunday but was just fitting the boost pipes and found that the turbo is! well in a bad way!! the hole alloy part moves with the rest of the manifold / housing staying still not sure what has happened? but any way help needed has any one got a good standard turbo for sale or know a good place to go? only thing is aint got loads of money left or would go for a bigger turbo please help cheers gary

    You can turn the shims around that hold the case on, to get rid of the play that way. Might be worth a look.

    PLEASE do NOT call threads "help please". People can't be bothered to look at threads they may not know anything about. Try to give a clue, like "Play in C20LET Turbo Housing - Repairable?" In fact, that's now what it's called.
    They're there, in their room.

    sorry about that wasnt sure as what to put as the title! thanks for changing it! how do i go about moving the shim? cheers gary
