My 1.4i Nova Mk2 has onw of these charcoal canister things that the fuel tank breather attaches to. I get an occassional problem when filling the tank full that the petrol gets pushed out through the breather pipe, right through to the front wing where this canister thing is located.
Am I right in thinking that the vent from this canister connects back into the inlet manifold? - Reason for asking is I think the petrol was getting all the way back in and causing overfueling.
Seems to me that if the breather system was working right, the petrol would never get this far.
Any thoughts, ideas
