Ive been told an XE loom can be modified to run a C20LET. The engine in my GSI is the later XEV, so can this also run a C20LET with some alterations?
Can anyone who has transplanted a C20LET into a MK3 GSI Share any of the problems that they came across. It would make life a lot easier if i could avoid any difficulties before i get to them. Thanks...
if u have an let loom use it.... moding the loom is only needed if you don't have an let loom to use..... if your think that modding the loom will be easier than fitting the let one then forget it the let loom fits straight into the mk3
He hasn't got one ste, unless it's another bloke, read the other thread on turbo loom and ecu. It all stems from LET looms and ECUs being very rare and someone else said you could run an LET from an XE ECU.
Im transplanting into an Ecotec(XEV) GSI. I am looking to transplant a C20LET
because the XEV's are quite pathetic and very untunable. I have been offered a C20LET (minus loom) for a very nice price. In the other thread i was indeed told i could use a XE loom with some changes, but i wasnt sure how different(if at all) the XE loom was to an XEV.
I would still be very grateful for any hints/tips on the engine swap.
