Right, Ive done headgaskets before but I just wondered about a few things on the 1.4 Corsa single point injection 1993 L reg. Is there anyhting special to look out for? does the cambelt have a tensioner or is it tensioned by the water pump? how do I release the tensioner? is it just like many others, spanner on nut and pull it across? how much will a head set be? (inlet gasket, exhaust and headgaskets?) do I need new headbolts as the old ones stretch? how much for the head to be skimmed these days? last one I did cost £30 but that was a while ago. Thanks in advance for any replies.
bout £30 for head, u should use new head bolts, bout £30 for gaskets, and is tensioned by the water pump so that mite need adjusting. if it does u mite b better off just getting a new pump bout £25 as they can be a bitch to adjust coz they rust in
