My 2.0 8v SRi 130 lump is a bit of an oil drinker, plus coolant is leaking into the cylinders.
Fearing the worst that I would need a full top and bottom end rebuild I did a compression test this morning,
yay, the rings are ok, got to be top end leakedge.
Where else could oil and water leak into the cylinders, I am thinking head gasket. Anywhere else??
Its inevitable that a top end rebuild is needed, any tips that I should follow??
Is it ok to drive about with the engine like this (if I keep oil and water levels topped up)?? he engine gets hot very quickly and within 10-15 mins the fan would come on.
