    dont believe the hype

    yep, for C20XE or C20LET head (KS or COSCAST) according to the Calibra workshop manul is

    overall height of cylinder head:
    sealing surface to sealing surface = 135.58mm to 135.68mm

    Gasket thickness, installed = 1.15mm to 1.3mm

    I think I'm the one who first started the "XE cam mod" talk back in the old ClubCalibra forum - so I'll explain (briefly)

    The XE cams are 'wilder' and therefore inappropriate for a stock LET. If you have a high-boost LET that has not be decompressed, then an XE inlet cam will lower the compression a bit, increasing reliability in that respect. It will also allow more mixture at high revs with its longer duration and increased lift.
    This will be at the expense of some pull down low (no free lunches today)

    If you run stock boost, the stock cams are best.
