    DewIsmotorsport c20let custom inlet manifol

I have been considering a dewismotorsport custom inlet but was wondering what people think of them and would like to hear comments by people which own them I have a c20let t34 turbo, vxr injectors, steel con rods with arp bolts, 2.0 mm cOmmetic head gasket, good set of mahle pistons, walbro 255 fuel pump, emerald ecu, 50 bhp shot of nos and running 20 psi of boost. Would I see a good gain in power or will I not notice it at that boost pressure? Any info would be good

Have you used them and seen power increase at all? just don't want to spend money and not gain at that power

I haven't done a dyno on mine but the workmanship and welds are very good. It all fits well and plumbs in nicely. Can't comment on the power, but the theory is there for a good power gain.

I haven't had one on the dyno but they flow a lot more freely than the standard cast manifold which you have to remember was only ever designed for the 150bhp 20XE engine, I gaurantee all my work for weld defects etc so that's piece of mind for people and when I say I will make it in a time frame I do, normally 2-3 weeks work depending, unlike many other company's, i also only take payment once done normally, and I use helmholtz resonance to work out plenum size etc

Do the runners project into the plenum? Be interesting to test it proper-like. You could simulate flow into the plenum and measure volume out through each runner, give you a fair idea of split.

Depends on your budget tbh, they range in price from £250-450 the later is fully trumpeted, few work in progress of my latest design, this style of inlet costs £700 from nortech I'm gonna be pushing these out for around the £400-450 mark which I think is a more reasonable price tbh, just need to finalise all out lay costs etc

Normally the vectra b V6 one or a Cav V6 as they both use the same TPS as the c20let, and the vacuum pipes are just screw in ones which can be bought from any air line fittings place in various sizes

Have a look at the Jenvey turbo plenum; not only has the plenum volume been precisely calculated but more crucially the diffuser(s) have been exhaustively tested to ensure equal cylinder filling when on boost.
yes jenvey TBs, i have seen them, and look awesome, but wellll out of my price range

For all those people who have pm'd regarding the new style here it is

Ignore the triple flange in the bottom picture that's just to stop distortion when cooling

Would be interesting to see. I know alot of the scandanavian people running this plenum have had issues with no. 1 being neglected, not so much a problem if you have ind. trim but not ideal. An easy solution seems to be spacering the plenum(adding around 50% volume) although i'm not so sure in a nova/corsa etc. you'll have to much scope for this
