Using digidash oil pressure switch
.... you know, the kind with two outputs.
Has anyone tried using (above) with a normal oil pressure gauge?
I kindof like the idea of avoiding those brass Y-thingys to hook up an oil pressure sender.
I found two catalog numbers, 12 52 558 and 12 52 563 but don´t know exactly how they are different?
Well it depends what make your electronic oil gauge is, but the chances of it being accurate are about 0.1% unless your gauge is made by VDO.
Vauxhall do two gauge sensors for astra's. THe only different is that one has a waterproof plug.
Manta models have a different thread.
same maybe true for senators/carltons S6
Once again I am impressed mr. K,
thank you very much!
Oh by the way, how much oil can I expect to piss out when I start taking out the old pressure switch? Lots?
No not lots. Just enough to get your hands oily.
You best get a drip tray if your going to take time to fit a T piece
