F28 broken?

I have question about F28 gearbox.

So i bought a F28 gearbox second hand. When i received the gearbox, I was quite disappointed cause i think it doesnt work.

I'm not able to put it on any gear by hand, and i cant turn the clutch shaft by hand. The gearbox has been empty of oil for about three weeks.

Does this mean the gearbox is broken or is it normal? If it's broken, what do you think is the problem, and how to fix it?

i had this problem, the mainshaft bearing had shat its self and locked the box lol.

Alright. Do you have any tips or advice before I go and open the gearbox?

stick a clutch friction plate on the shaft, you'll have more leverage to turn it then

Yeah i should try that. But what about the thing that i cant get it to any gear? My friend told me that it should go to gear easily even with just hands.

it should yes but it may be stiff from not being lubed for a while.
