Ok a few small issues about the nova to deal with..
She is still over fueling - I am going to change the ecu temp sensor - Hopefully this will help.
Starter motor sticks a lot and sometime does not engage and i have to bump start the car. How easy it is to change this as i have a spare in my garage? In a nova 20xe lump...
Also Gearbox is ****ting against the anti roll bar at the bottom everytime i change gear. I did not chop any thing off the gearbox as some people say i should of.?
ECU light wiring? I tried it but with no success can someone please refresh my memory.
Fuel pump - I am using a nova GTE fuel pump is that ok? or change for 20xe pump.
Heaters make a fuzzy loud noise when i hit a bump or a corner tight... Sqeekkk really bad.. Any ideas? It ws originially a mark 1 but it has been mark 2d inside......
Whats the best option for upgrading brakes.. Its got valver brakes on front with standard discs and pads. shall i go 288mm disc. If so can i use turbo pads with the 16v calipers?
Also the main one that worries me is the rev counter reading is out of sync.. It thinks it idles at 1100rpm but the car seems like its idling less. Also at 70mph in my cav GSI it revs at 3krpm at 70 mph where as its 60mph in the nova and when i hit the rev limiter it goes straight of the clocks....Rev count clock.
It there a rev counter sensor on the front of the block as some wires got slightly melted from the ehxuast manifold..
