Basically i have fired up my recently built SEH nova to find that it has a little judder upon rapid throttle angle change. I would imagine it to be a pulse going to the AFM.
Engine is fitted with Kent AST15 cam with VS37 springs, 4 branch with 51mm collector and full stainless magnex. Kent recommend this cam to be used with a free flowing inlet which is what i beleive to be the problem
I intend to fit r1 bike carbs or twin webbers.
Found today in a scrappy in cheltenham a mk2 astra, 1985 (c reg) with 16sh engine. which i believe was the same as fitted on mk2 cav.
Anyway i took the dizzy, leads, coil and amplifier for £15.
Now my question is, Is this dizzy setup the same as the regularly mentioned "mk2 cav 1.6 dizzy" as i have never heard of someone saying "get one off a mk2 1.6 astra".
So basically can i use this? its mechanical and adjustable, came off a 16sh and is in very good nick.
Opinions please
