    help needed asap(c20xe)

    got a c20xe in a mk3 astra(coil pack engine)

paper clip tested the ecu and got

    13 oxy sensor(dont have 1)
    21 Throttle postion-high voltage
    22 Throttle position-low voltage
    31 crank sensor-no signal
    48 battery voltage
    73 Air flow sensor-low voltage

i know that the alternator is not charging fully(only 11 volts)
but the car is really holding back cutting out and just generally running rough

    any1 got any ideas cheers

First of all you need to reset you ECU by taking on of one of the battery plugs for a minute then run your car for 10 minutes then take the fault codes same times one of the codes is related to another I advice you to solve your alternator problems first then start working one buy one

the crappy power supply will effect the normal opperation of all the sensors, i'd put money on an altenator sorting it buddy

gave the battery a good charge and had it on while running, all the low voltage faults are away. got an oxy sensor in which helped. but still got fault 21, now after a bit of staring at the engine ive found out that im running an early throttle body on a late engine so throttle position sensor is different if im right????

My engine has this throttle and tps
after a few more checks with a tps like this
on track 1 - 5volt feed, track 2 - earth and track - 3 is between 0.28 and 4.74 volts depending on what position the sensor is in. am i right in thinking thats ok, if it is i need a throttle body that this sensor fits onto later xe or let 1 i think??

just bought your sensor from andrew page 35 quid the other type is ecotec and totally diffrent. And if your alt is crap your car will be running on your battery so your only getting 11 volts so it will run like crap until it has 12 volts running through the electrics.
