just refiitin me head with two gaskets and wonderin do i need to alter the tightening procedure. coz i have just done the second stage of 90 degree turns an i had to swing on the feckin bar to move the bolts, also listening to the worring screechin n moanin comin from each bolt as i tightened them
It should not matter that you have spaced the head up a bit. In fact two head gaskets should compress more. If you stick to the initial torque setting and angles, then the bolts are at a set torque level. As there is more material that will compress they will probably be slightly under torque.
