The V6 has had an oil leak since I got it (nothing shocking there)..
However, the engine oil hasn't dropped at all so I'm guessing it could be from the auto 'box (haven't checked the level yet, it's on the 'to do' list)..
If it is from the 'box, where's the most likely place for it to be leaking from? And should it be fairly easy to fix?

The reason I am suspicious of additives is that, when Slick50 was much younger (about 20-30 years younger ) I seem to recall its ad campaign being withdrawn/altered coz it was actually screwing with engines, not helping them...
The way that the dealers drain the fluid is through the driveshafts........
I found the syphoning pretty easy though m8, i bought one of them plastic petrol syphoners from local car accessories shop for £2 something and had to extend the pick up point....take about 20min to do......I sucked out 2-3 litres....(do not syphon by mouth....you know that anyway )
Trouble is the slick 50 transmission fluid additive is about £15
