I have a kn induction kit fitted tom my 89 mk3 cavvy sri, would it be of any benefit fitting a cavvy turbo reg, I have also heard that a reg off a sierra 2.0 is adjustable, if so then is it a 16v or 8v sierra. help
it will fit yes, i would be 99% sure you have yellow injectors with a current 2.5 bar reg, the cally turbo reg is a straigt swap, or even a late gte16v reg which is 3bar too. the choice is yours which source you use.
its only an upgrade if you have a 2..5 bar reg now, with the yellow injectors, the old reg should have the rating stamped on the side. so wipe the dust off and have a looksee.
Hey oddball not looked at too many recently but ther used to be lot of single cam 16v hondas and rovers running around. Ask No-9 sure he'll tell you so. And mitsubishi have SOHC engine with 12valves! There are a few odd engines about like that.
Whilst my lass was looking at a Smart Car (Kringe!!!!) I enquired about the new Chrysler Neon. Thats a 2.0 16v SOHC putting out 150 BHP. Singe Cam!!!! That sounds strange to me!!! But then again it is American.
