equal length shaft-scrap?

hi, got the calibra equal length driveshaft on my corsa c20xe & the center cv joint is knackered, a few places have said i can only get a new tripod bit with the bearings on but cant get the cup part of the c.v, is this true? Can i get it repaired anywhere or is it scrap? Thanks.

no you can get the inner cv, its not a tripod type. just ask for inner cv off a cav 4wd, when they look it up the two inner cvs should have different part numbers, then you know its the right one

I got one from A1 motor stores, cost £40, I think it has 22 splines and is FEMALE.

I am assuming this is the one that goes on the shaft from the gearbox you want.

As said get one from a Cav/Cali turbo offside inner CV joint.

i got a complete set of equal lengh drive shafts for sale for £40 both shafts and centre shaft.

Sorry for delay the one I got is made by Shaftec Automotive Components, part number PJ86N, fits perfectly as well.
