got 2 f28 linkages, what one do i use? pics inside

the top one is off my f20 and seems longer! the bottom one is a corsa b f28 linkage? but i thought the f28 linkage was ment to be long....my current one looks like its been extended about 10mm and the plastic rod is longer then the supposed corsa f28 linkage.

can i swap the ends over etc?? what linkage looks correct?




plastic rods...longer one is on my f20 setup.

I know on the mk3 astra i'm doing i've had to the astra mount/bracket, but take the linkage off & swop it for the f28 linkage,

not 100% if corsa is the same but might put you in right direction....

how can i remove them? there on super tight...

pull harder, they will come off.

are you talking about the bit that goes onto the gbox and not the plastic rod?

just the linkage part, there is a pin that gos thru the bracket then the linkage then thru the bracket again, where the linkage moves,
i had to soak mine for a while then tap it out as it was stiff...

i think all i need to do is swap the ends over...i trial fitted my f20 and it works but the end part is too long.

so if i remove the whole linkage and soak it in really hot water it should prise off?

done this, i wish someone said its just a circlip to remove the ends...

i was thinking if i used the shorter linkage, would i get a shorter throw?? or would it not work at all...
