Help!(Andy K??) Cally fuel computer temp sensor?
How hard can it possibly be?
I have moved over a fuel computer from one Calibra to another, both are 1992 models. The wiring for both the switches and the fuel computer itself were there. Got it working in no time.
Also, I got the temp sensor itself out of the donor car without any major problems.
But I just can´t find the plug in the loom on the car receiveing the fuel computer. Could it be tucked away somewhere?
Try looking under the black box (relay box) in the right hand rear of engine.mine were there.blue, blue/white iirc.
if its the trip computer plug youre after take the glovebox out and its back there cable tied out the way...
As Lee said.
There is a 4/5 pin plug under the relay box, under the bonnet.
It's best to get the small wiring loom out of the donar car for that.
that little bit of loom is about £15 iirc - i ordered 1 by mistake the other week lmao
so there´s a little bit of loom spawning out from a 4 or 5-pin plug under the relay box, right?
Good thing I have the day off tomorrow then
All i did was cut the 2 wires from the 5 pin thingy, and connect them directly to wires for the temp sensor.made me own loom so to speak.
and it doesnt matter which way round they connect.
