life changing DESCISION TO BE MADE --- ALL HELP
I HAVE A STANDARD 16V CALIBRA SYSTEM (MANIFOLD-CAT-CENTRE) WITH POWERFLOW BACK BOX. THE SYSTEM ISNT LOUD ENOUGH FOR ME. SO I WONDERED IF THIS WOULD BE BETTER.
REPLACE CAT AND CENTRE SECTION WITH STRAIGHT THROUGH PIPE, LEAVING ONLY THE BACK BOX
REPLACE CAT WITH STRAIGH THROUGH PP, AND NEW CENTRE SECTION BUT INCLUDE A MIDDLE BOX
ALL DONE AT EITHER POWERFLOW OR ASCAR
I DONT WANT TO LOSE ANY POWER, BUT WANT IT LOUDER

NOT LOUD ENHOUGH ?
The way your typing looks like your shouting, maybe youre al ready def?
Ok, serious now,
if you replace the cat, you could fail MOT depending on the age of your car.
Remove the carpet from the car; you'll love the noise....
if your car is h reg you will get away with removing the cat k reg is a grey area for te cat that is the year ir was made into the mot
I had a Cav GSi with a Cav Turbo exhaust and straight pipe replacing the CAT.
That was very loud but sounded lovely.
i obviusly understand about the cat replacement and he mot, my car is a j reg.
but that wasnt the question, was it
(how sad is it to, reply just cos i typed in caps, get over it lol)
hi mate i would go for the straight through and lose the middle box and cat
