As already said, you need to have access to the correct gear.
Even just sticking them into an ultra-sonic bath isn't ideal, they need to be pulsed while they are in there, you also need to be able to check the spary pattern and be able to check that they all flow a similar amount.
I can get them done proper by a friend who does that as a job, but i got some blues if you wanna buy them or may even have some xe std injectors if you want to try em, I'm in smethwick ??
you won't be able to tell if they need cleaning, they need to be rigged up and have the spray pattern checked, I used gunk engine degreasant in an old kettle with a mesh strainer (one of those things you use when you cook spaghetti)`
it has a problem of not staying runnin when first start it and keeps cutting out but if i hold the revs on for bout a minuite it wont cut out but still runs lumpys and does seem to use fuel,
If you are gonna try and clean them yourself by soaking them in degreaser, don't fully submerge them, you could end up making them worse ! you only need to submerge the outlet end (pintle end).
hey!!
mine 1680cc injectors i can clean myself,, well almost.
thay are so big and so 'untech' that the can be cleaned with compressed air.
just open the injector with your finger and blow air through them.
