My original oil cooler has had it...and now since she lives in sunny Aus she runs a lot hotter...am looking at puting a bigger oil cooler on there but not sure how big I can get away with behind the front bar.
I'm going to cut out the top bit where the number plate usually sits but there's a metal bar above that and going much lower will make it prone to getting knocked on speedhumps n stuff...
So I figure maybe 2-3 inches taller...
Has anyone gone with a larger cooler, if so...what diameters and did you have to make any other mads to get her in there...or did you move it to another spot?
I have cut the bumper as you are going to do. Looks better. The Reason i have cut it away was to fit a front mounted intercooler. Dimensions are 72cmx 22cmx 6cm. You wont need an oil cooler that big but it looks mean and is in the air flow.
The bumper has a metal support which you will have to cut as well as it shows when you cut the plastic from the bumper, but dont cut through the metal support just trim!
Have fun with your project oil cooler
