My astra has been running really well for along time now, but as i was using it the otherday, it started fine and everything, so i pulled away and it was also fine, then say about 5mins into my journey, i started to get abit of bogging down, and then engine light decided to come on.
I then pulled over, toke the keys out of the ignition so ecu reset itself, then tried starting the car back up again. It didnt want to start again. Had to get it towed home.
When i got in i check and changed some things:
- Fuel Relays Clicking
- Checked Fuel Pump & its priming
- Fuel Filter Got changed
- Fuel in fuel rail
- Got spark and compression
- All sensors have been checked and working fine
- Fault codes checked and it says KNOCK1, KNOCK2, KNOCK3, KNOCK4, which is oviously due to fuel starvasion.
Could the airflow meter be the problem as i no it doesnt come up on the fault codes reading??
- Injectors Not Pulsing
Car doesnt attemp to start, unless you spray carb cleaner/ easy start down the inlet manifold then it attemps to start.
ANY IDEAS PLEASE, AS IVE BEEN WORKING ON THE CAR FOR COUPLE DAYS NOW WITH NO LUCK.
