Ok i ordered a SEH engine from Cambells in bolton. They said that they had removed the exhaust manifold so as to check the engine code.
On delivery i inspected the engine code area to find no visible signs of the engine type, the metal ledge that the engine code normally sits on was smooth and showed signs of the numbers 0000 but no signs of engine type code . I removed the head to find that the engine was using the same pistons that are on the 20 NE block (i have one sitting in a shed) and also uses a 20E head.
After my previous topic a week ago dave said (please correct me if i am wrong) the SEH will be using a SEH type head and a SEH block (with different pistons) as well as a different cam. Me thinks the salvage place has pulled a fast one.
Before i phone them to tell them of thier mistake i want to check its not me in the wrong.
It seems to me that i now have two 2.0 NE engines
