I have just swapped the gearbox on my Nova from an F10/4 to an F10/5CR, reconnected the cable and set the pedal height.

When i press the pedal to the floor it seems to make a slight crunching noise, and i cant release the pedal smoothly. It seems to catch when releasing at the same point it makes the noise. This is about 2/3 down.

The gearbox and clutch are the correct items before anyone suggests, so the problem must be in the cable or pedal. Any ideas what it could be?
