Re: are these garretts not abit cheap?

turbo £392 plus about £60 plus £13 =£465 then P&P from the US say £35

so £500 for a garrett turbo posted (roughly) lmao

whats wrong with journal bearing turbo's? compared to roller bearings?

sorry i read it wrong you need to add the vat to postage as well then you will get a letter when they have it at the depo or if your tracking it you can phone them and pay it

but it depends on the company thats sending them out they may send them out at a lower price ( paper work saying £20) or they can send then out as gift, repair, replacment

it all depends on the company email them and ask then how they send it out as any of the above and they offer postage insurance take it out just incase something goes wrong you can only claim for what in the paper work

Two suggestions, ciontact the vendor - I expect they've some experience in export orders tot he UK, or give your local cCstoms and Excise office a call and see what they say.
IMO, no point in risking it being confisicated for the sake of a few quid.
