took out my turbo injectors today and the green part has chipped off
took out my cav turbo injectors to have thm cleaned abd realized that the green section at the bottom of the injector found just after the rubber seal has a fair bit missing like its chipped off could this be causing my running lean problems.
(looking at my very recently cleaned injectors on the table beside me)
As long as it can seal nicely, I canīt see why that should be a problem. Of course a picture would help to see the exact bit thatīs missing.
As you are having them cleaned anyway, I suppose the cleaning guy should be qualified to know if itīs going to cause any problems?
As far as I know, there are spare parts available for the injectors. For example, apparently thereīs a filter inside which is replaced when itīs cleaned.
Mine were tested to flow 97, 100, 100, 100ml in a "simulated" test at the pressure of 4.5bar as I requested.
Does anyone know if 3% variation is a problem in a phase III LET?
