just finished getting it up and running! but it hunts sometimes and the eml flicks on/off! underload it caughs and splutters then clears and drives fine!
i have used the same parts that was on my old LET execpt the turbo...
then only thing i can find is a hose that looks like a map sensor but its not connected, all the vacuum hoses i know of are connected....shall i t it in a see what happens? is it from my old 14xe ecu+lump?
If the EML is flickering but no storing codes it sound like a loose or duff sensor/bad connection/bad earth type scenario. Time to unplug everything and clean and inspect all sensors and loom IME.
lol will do it tomorrow mate, i cant work out whats gone wrong...its only at low revs it jerks about, fine on boost etc and eml only comes on when it splutters then when i get past that bit ti goes off.
Only thing with doing the paper clip test is that you can't clear the codes after you have read them so if that code has come up before on that ECU in any car and hasnt been cleared then it will show everytime you test it.
So my next question is...... Have you had that code up before????
no the ecu pipe is plumbed in...i rigged that random pipe up to the tank vavle, hasn't made any difference! i have noticed the vacuum gauge is reading really strong!! its reading on idle what it used to read on the over run lol, this cant be right?
it idles better now but still splutters when around the 2k mark underload! eml flashes on then it goes off and runs normal..is it difficult to mix the amal valve wires up or do they go anyway round? (plug not hoses)
right i have changed over the amal valve plug and it seems much smoother underload but when its hot it starts pissing around at low revs!
i looked under the bonnet and found the wire on the lambda sensor was exposed! the casing had split...and its right next to my metal fan bracket lol so is this the problem? i heard these cause major problems when there hot!
i think mr fen your fellow brother car has been fixed love the chatter from the egay t34 lmao
Unplugging it wont fix the problem mate. It will be worse.
