ive just fitted a rebuilt c20xe engine with a coscast head into my corsa b shell ive had it started for al of 30seconds at a time now it wont start and it stinks of fuel i checked the dizzy and plugs seem and to be getting a good enough spark but the every time i pull the plugs out there black and leatherd in petrol also the pistons are to after cleaning up the plugs it coffs and wants to start then nothing ??? any ideas guys?
No im just saying they might be flowing wrong or something, I dont think theres any way other than getting them ultrasonically cleaned to tell if there poorly tbh. O also didnt know whether the fse would of been overfuelling but seeing as its not plumbed in that wont effect it. maybe timming? I'm just throwing possible causing at you to be honest, you got any engine management light on?
what colour are the injectors? blue or cream?
what fuel pressure is the regulator?(usually it says on the regulator, either 2.5bar or 3 bar)
is the ecu light wired in, if so has it come on at all?
I have cream injectors the fuel pressure reg is 3.0 bar yes the ecu eml light is on goes of then comes back on am i running the correct fuel pressure reg? i have a fse power boost valve but im not using it yet
