does it do it even just revving it or only when you drive?

thick red - battery, thin black - igntion switched feed, thick red/blue - fuel pump, brown/blue - ecu light. thin green - rev counter.
i havnt drove it yet, just on the drive until tomorrow, been told it could be the throttle position sensor????
so im revving it on the drive, if i slowly rev it it will go right up to 6k, but as soon as i open it fully it dies
try disconnecting the air flow meter and see if it makes any difference.

it idles ok when connected but when i take off the afm it is even worse and wont rev at all really
fuel pump?
the fuel pump was new about 8 months ago
i can hear the fuel pump buzzing every so often on idle, even if its buzzing can it still be faulty, i just spoke to my mate who gave it me and he said it was used so unsure how old it is
throttle position sensor or mass air flow sensor is what it sounds like
do these have knock sensors? my xe wouldnt go past 4.5k til i changed it.
Im a Daddy Wahoooo
well i changed the tps, cts, afm and still the same, im going to change the pump tomorrow but failing that could it be that the fuel has been sat for like 5 months in the tank but with it holding back when i put my foot down im thinking its not getting enough fuel so hopefully the new pump will sort it
can anyone help me on this, i couldnt make it to billing because i couldnt get it sorted,
ive now changed the plugs, fuel filter, pump, cts, tps, leads, inlet gasket. ive got no air leaks and checked all boost pipes.
the engine is dying as soon as the boost gauge gets to -10. dont even get to 0psi.
basically pretty much as soon as i open the throttle it dies and then will idle very low but idles fine when first started. im really puzzled as to whats wrong, it ran perfect before i took it out for the car to be resprayed, all ive put on it is fmic and 2 1/2 boost pipes. and the phase 2 ecu with 3.5 bar reg.
ive tried another ecu and still the same
can the actuator being right at the end of the rod cause this???? i havnt set it up yet
crank sensor, is one i would try my let did the same thing last year
will try one then mate asap cheers
but if it was on its way out wouldnt the eml come on???? i got no eml showing
the eml may not come on till it completely fails.
i also say knock sensor
dirty injectors ?
as far as i could see they were spotless when i put them back in, i kept them out the way of any dirt etc in bags and when they were fitted i checked them over. they worked fine before engine came out.
is the accuator fitted? and the turbo wont make boost if not on load...
is the knock sensor plug and idle controlvalve plugs on the right way? ie red plug to knock sensor, black to ICV

did you play with the cams?
Would a blown turbo give you these simptons?
well i ran my tank low once and after that i had engine troubles where it wouldnt go over 3000rpm. fine upto 3000, but wouldnt go over. i swapped to another set of injectors, cleaned fuel rail and fpr and it never did it since.
i only said injectors cos your engine has been stood, deposits in the injectors/rail/fuel lines would turn into dust when the petrol has dried up. that muck could be giving you these problems. or maybe its another fuel system fault ? pump ? fpr?
had a similar sounding problem on X16XE, no turbo issues here was just dirty fuel, had fouled all plugs. Put 15 litres of 101 oct fuel in there, changed plugs and left to idle for about 30 mins took it for a spin and after a bit of rough running and popping she was sweet as a nut. Not sure how related this is but it wouldn't rev before i did this and had no power anywhere let alone bottom end when the baby valvers actually have **** all go anyway.
ive tried 2 afm and its still the same, definate working ones too so not the afm, im going to put £10 of high octane fuel in tomorrow and give it a run
