Found out what that buzzing "my cambelts about to snap" noise is.
A few weeks back there was a thread about cambelt back plates resonating and buzzing, and wether maybe it was worn idlers or something else making the noise.
In the 0-60 queue yesterday we topped up the oil, some spilt over the cam cover as usual. About 10 minutes later there was plumes of smoke coming from my engine bay, popped the bonnet again and it was just some of the oil had found its way to the exhaust manifold. So i thought i would hold the throttle and try and burn it off, just as i did this the buzzing noise started again, as i looked down to where the oil was seaping i noticed the end of the exhaust heat sheild was thrapping about.
Simple, the 1st bolt from the cambelt end was missing.
