    my red top calibra has oil in the water

    im looking for a bit of help pleze after rebuilding my c20xe i forgot to put anti freeze in it by the time i got round to it it had frozen so i got anti freeze in it wen it had defrosted and ran it it was running sweet but i noticed oil in my water so i pulled my head of to find a crack along 3 bores so i got a new block rebuilt it expecting it to be right and im still gettin oil in my water resevoir any ideas please

    What did you torque the head to?
    Did you have the head pressure tested?
    Did you use a GM head gasket?

    You might want to find out if thats the problem before you go doing it. If the water froze in it and cracked it then its scrap

    could the freezing brought about the porus problem? i think that might of unless of coruse ur using a coscast head
