yes it was ok before and the pump didn't howl, surely it wouldn't run at all if fuel lines were incorrect?
i havent wired up light, which one is it if u know off hand? possibly brown with white trace but i'm not near car so cant look
well my fuel gague worked with old tank but not with this one, the bolts holding it in come out but i cant get the actual thing out it is annoying me and yes i have connected the plug uplmao
Brown with white trace according to the wiring diagram.
Like I said before, the pump will problerbly be strong enough to force fuel the wrong way through the FPR to give it enough fuel to run. It will moan about doing it though, proberbly running at like over 100psi!
Pumps are usually very sturdy, they only really moan when really low on fuel, or are working too hard.
Where abouts are you?
You wanna swap the senders over? The old one have the pump feed connection then?
When I swapped some over it too one helluva bashing to turn it. That was with the tank out of the car though, so it was easier.

i will investigate the pipes but im sure they are ok but i will look, this is in danger or making me hate my nova which i dont want.
i'll come back tomorrow and let you gloat when i find out the pipes are wronglmao
thanks for the help mate
Good luck. Not saying you checked it wrong. Just that the symtoms scream that to me, and I know how hard it is to check which pipe is which (been a fair few posts on here with the same problems too).
Go on... prove me wrong. lmao
