I've currently got my oil pump in pieces and replacing the internals of it,all was going well till I had to put the little valve in-which I'm guessing is the pressure release valve???(little ball bearing sat on a spring in a pressed steel plate cage) anyway I can see the part that I'm replacing but can't see how to get it out. Is it removed by moving the oil cooler plate??
Ideally I'd like one of those exploded diagrams for it,can anyone help??
the top pump, I believe, is for the 20XE, and the other the C20XE, or rather, has the extra bit of casting at the top for the autotensioner layout, which has a tab on it which hooks into that extra bit on the pump..
Thats the bit gary-so you reckon I should leave it where it is then??
What about the nylon kit you mention? Is this a replacement part?or a reccomended update type thing
And yes my oil pump is the one labelled 2.
