Hello to all,
This may sound like a ridiculous, and uninformed question, but:
If the bulkhead of a Nova was rusted, especially the bits that protrude from the rear sides of the bay on either side towards the inside of the front wings (inner wings??), how would one go about fixing it?
I've been told that the only way to cure rust here, is to replace the entire front of the vehicle, from the bulkhead forward.
I've been told that the bits of panel that come out of the engine bay towards the arches are one and the same bit of metal that _is_ the bulkhead, and can therefore only be replaced as a whole.
I realise that this all sounds a little confused, but basically, a body shop want £1500 to whack the car on a jig, weld on a replacement entire front end from a donor car.. This all seems a bit far fetched to me!
Please advise guys (and gals)
