Hello friends! Sorry for my VERY bad English!!
My car is an Opel Kadett GSI whit a C20LET engine ( 18000 km)
Sins I changed the gasket of my oil pump, my oil pressure has become lower! When the engine is cold the pressure is about 4 Bar.( The pressure is at 4 Bar very quickly… 1 sec or so) and when the oil is 90°C the pressure falls to 3 Bar. as I am driving. When I then give full speed the pressure falls to 2.5 bar??? The idelpressure is about 1.5 Bar. I have hat the oil pump taken off 4 times ,and every time I fitted a new gasket. I have now bought a new oil pump but It is still the same. I use Castrol RS 10W60 oil. I am getting nuts! The engine is not making any noises! I have tried everything but now I am empty of good solutions!
Lets say, that when I changed the gasket the first time, a little piece of the old gasket has slipped into the oil channel, and sits an blockade in the engine. Can I blow this piece out backwards from the cylindehead ( whit out taking the head of?) if I take the oil pump of again. I have hat the valve cab taken of several time to se that there is oil by the hydraulic lifters and the cams (plenty)
My thought is that a bearing of a conrod is leaking? When I changed the gasket the first time I also changed the hydraulic lifers. I have got help from " Risse Motorsport" in Germany but still no good result! The engine is running very superb, only this dam oil pressure is giving me a head Paine!
If any of you have a good solution/ plan I will be pleased?? I have looked at the tread " oil pressure update" and can see that all of you have a lot more oil pressure! Please help!!!
