gsi running problem!! need help asap

car has been running **** eva sine i bought it.
Took for a drive today and gave it some, like you do.
And now it wont tick over and runs crap
got fault code 73- aire flow meter, voltage low
what could of caused this???

The earth pin at the afm plug! just pull the cover back and have a look, or try another afm... disconnect battery for a few mins to reset codes

checked all wiring and it fine, BUT...................

I took the air mass of and inside there looks like there is meant to be fine wires criss crossing round the outer edges (if you get me) and 1 of them has snapped, there like little elements.

anyone got a spare one they want to sell????????
