My sisters cam belt snapped (X14XE) the other day which resulted in 16 bent valves and 14 cracked guides.
The head has been to the machine shop and has had 14 guides replaced had a skim.
Ive bought new valves and ground and fitted the 8 exhaust valves which went in fine.
When i started on the Inlets for some reason the new valves wont fit down some of the new guides and are very tight on the other ones when the straightest old valve stem fits down tthe new guide fine. Why is this?
