is there a quicker way 2 get the inner cv's off without having to take the driveshafts off the car or not, because ive gotta regrease the inner cv's and maybe change the boots??
Undo the track rod ends, remove the 2 bolts off the bottom of the strut (bolting the steering knuckle to the strut) and pull. They should just pull out of the gearbox. Thats the only way I can think of. If I was going to all the bother tho, I'd take them out all together and replace both boots.
i took the drivers side inner cv joint off eventually and the knuckle came away from the bearings and cage, the knuckle is on the driveshaft still and the bearing and cage are in the cv is this meant to happen??
