Does anyone know how much thicker it is possible to go on the head gaskets to lower the compression ratio without having to alter the cam timing as I do not want to spend money on a set of vernier pulleys as that will end up costing and if I was to do that then I would just go for lower compression pistons.
I would like to reduce mine just enough so I do not have to use so much timing retard to counter the pinking. Basically looking at a quick fix as I am not ready to put lower comp pistons in as I just want to get some use out of the car before summer is over.
