I am thinking of increasing the performance of my Cav Gsi, and wondered about throttle bodies. I know they are just over a grand, fairly easy to fit DIY??, and should give me 190ish brake (probs at 160ish at the moment).
Few things though - my engine has done 111k, meticulously looked after, with oil changes every service interval, and a few more too - as well as all other bit and pieces maintained, no expense spared, all its life.
I have a full Janspeed system and manifold, modded the cam breather, K&N panel. Can I whack on TB's as it is, what else do I need to do, and does an engine that age need maybe a rebuild before trying this?
Any info appreciated - hopefully speak to someone at Billing about it, and maybe have a bash in a TB'd Cav - whoever has one?
