Cemesis has dropped a turbo in his Astra GTE and we all know how light they are. He doesn't seem to have problems getting the power down with an LSD & bits and from what we know it's a fast, entertaining drive.
I'm assuming Dave Franczak has 300Bhp+ going through the front wheels of his Mk1 Astra and the car is pretty much a legend.
Is it really necessary to have 4WD or RWD to get the most from a turbo engine or is the evidence above enough to make a FWD turbo (conversion) worthwhile?
Would 350Bhp on a C20 LET, through a 6-speed box and FWD with all the correct 'bits' be a waste?
