    Thumbs up Injector cleaning

If anyone wants or need's any injectors cleaning, i can totally recommend these guys:

    HGL Motors: www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/index.htm

I sent my set on Tuesday afternoon, and got them back yesterday (Friday), with a full health report and what parts they have replaced...all for just short of £50

To buy new injectors would cost alot more than that, plus you dont know that new injectors are 100% clean, given the facts that they have a coating from the factory to keep moisture off them and also, a set of injectors could have been sat on a parts dept shelf for possibly 10 years.

These injectors were not actually mine out of the Calibra, but a set i bought off a member on VXON a while back...so, its just a case of having to swap them over now

    Breif results of cleaning were:

    Flow rate before cleaning:

    1 - 58 cc's
    2 - 60 cc's
    3 - 61 cc's
    4 - 60 cc's

    Flow rate after cleaing:

    All 4 @ 62 cc's

all 4 passed the Resistance test before cleaning and leak test before and after cleaning, and they replaced the Filter baskets, Top seals and bottom seals inclusive in the price...superb service.

    Now to get them fitted

Defeats the object of having them all flowing at the same rate if only your having one done

If he only has Single Point Injection he will only have the ONE injector.

Tahrey - if you look on the linked site, it prices them up...its priced per injector anyway

Quick update too...all noticeable flat-spots have gone, pinking has gone, the car is much more responsive and pull's soo much better through the entire range...AND, this is possibly the best bit, my MPG has gone up...from a steady indicated average on trip comp' of 27.7. to 29.5

I have just used these guys for cleaning my injectors.
The service is superb tbh, i sent the injectors on tuesday morning and got them back this morning(thurs) they all benifited from a clean and in my eyes is money well spent.

I would recommend them to anybody wanting injectors cleaned at a good price in quick time and a professional service too.

Just had my Beige 20XE injectors done.
Speedy service, sent monday, received wednesday

    Before clean:
    1: 62cc
    2: 63cc
    3: 63cc
    4: 61cc

Did Leak Test, Resistance Test, Static & Dynamic Spray Pattern checked, Filter baskets changed, Ultrasonic Clean at 3bar for 50 minutes, top & bottom seals changed

    After clean:
    1: 64cc
    2: 64cc
    3: 64cc
    4: 64cc

Not a huge difference, but worth it for peace of mind. Highly recommended
