i can get hold of a cav turbo problem is the engine gives a clicking sound when key is turned but doesnt turn if i turn it manually and it turns does that mean the engine is not seized apart from a faulty starter motor what else would cause this if it was a faulty starter or loose lead to starter would it still start if push started.
If ain't seized then you should be able to turn it over by hand,(clockwise) but from what your saying it sounds like you've got either a rather flat battery or the starter is buggered. I expect you've already checked the battery,so I'd say its the starter motor (solenoid) trying to engage the starter drive and can't. Give it tap a nd then try it. If still nothing remonve it and conect it to a battery(and hold it down) if it clicks then its probably the solenoid.
Hope this is of some help.
