    c20 let porous head

    hello have a calibra turbo engine in my astra and have found cream cheese in water, been told the head has gone porous anyone know how much to fit a leeve in waterway or anybody got a head? also is the redtop c20 xe head the same as the turbo c20 let head/ thanks

    xe head is the same, £100 to fix

    If you do the work yourself, the acutal fix costs about &#163;4 - you can do it in situ, but really you need to have done it before otherwise you will need the head off, in that case you will need a new gasket set which will obviously push the price up quite a bit.

    There is a link in my sig with info on the problem. Speak to Chris R (afik, link to him on my site in the sig) I think he is still knocking out the fix at &#163;40, but you will have to remove the head and arrange postage and collection.
