well i guess i was hoping to just swap it over to a factory one if possible, trust me these are expensive from vauxhall im pretty sure they were over £65 wouldnt have minded paying £20-£30 but thats to much for a bit of rubber piping
if anyone could get some for me when they are at the breakers i would appreciate that i dont really have to much spare time in the day, hence why all my repairs are done in the dark which isnt fun

Cant you go to the motor factors and buy some similar shaped pipes fromt he odds n sods box?
Or try some other cars at the scrappys?
no scrappies i know off that arent miles away from me or would charge the same as vauxhall, as said pipes have a few connections and joied at some point so cant use single hosing
was thinking should cut the hole out and use something to reconnect the pipes although im not quite sure what

ive fitted an mbc, done the white ring and upped the fuelling by 1/3 of a turn on my astra it now runs 1.1 bar and drives much better throughout the revrange above 2500rpm!

Could you get away with turning it any more? The general rule is turn it until it smokes on boost, then sneak it back a bit.

any one know if i could use a frontera front mount intercool and be able to plumb it in like a LET, got a mk3 astra TD isuzu lump
yes you can use the i.c. if you can find one, i'm running without a nut in the bleed valve so its just open not by choice it dropped out cba to put one in. Works fine and puts out 22-23psi on standard i.c.
cone filter straight off the turbo helps with cooling and makes a cool whistle.
what about **** being let thru the cone filter? it will kill the turbo blades wnt it. am i right in thinking the standard IC is on top of the engine? as i wanted it in the front bumper, will cut out a space for it in my GLS bumper (basicly the same as a sport bumper)
your thinking about pugs, the intercooler is on the rad (passenger side) probably a good idea to put it somewhere that would be more open e.g. (in front of) the bottom of the rad

Jack i'm seriously tempted to get Mk3 astra sport diesel, all this boost for so little effort sounds like an awesome idea.
