How critical is it that the thrust pads are kept with rocker arms? I'm looking at an 8V head and it's possible that some of the pads have got mixed up. Also do they need to go a certain way round? I can see wear marks on the arms and the pads (seem in middle of pads pretty much) but I can't feel anything.
I always keep the rocker arms in the right order (as in keep the same lifter and rocker together) never bothered much with the pads as they're not much more than a spacer imo
