Crank pulley bolt size, is it E20?

Cant remember off hand and need to advise someone on what tool to get.

can anyone remember the exact size of the crank pulley bolt, i think they are the same for all years?

Its the BIG bolt in the center of the pulley that goes into the crank that im referring to.

remember the bolt is heavily shouldered for strength - a flat faced E20 socket will likely slip off and cause you to lacerate your wrist against the rusty oily lower crossmember, so, unlike me, try to avoid seeing all the bits that make your hand work, and find a shouldered socket to match.

I know its already confirmed but its definately an E20 as they don't come on the Halfrauds rail and I had to buy mine seperately!

bet I could injure myself, even if it meant cartwheeling backwards out a window, narrowly missing a pick up truck full of cushions.

Gary, im sorry you felt i was underestimating your ability to self harm.

Especially with things like a combine harvester within staggering distance if you lean forward to quick and stab your eye out on the dipstick and wander out the workshop door in a painful daze as Charles is pottering past in one.
