It's now 3am Eternal. I started at 9.00pm and finished at 2am.
Manky specimen from 3.0 Carlton at scrappy.
Bit of sculpting with angle grinder to remove unwanted bits.
Holes converted to slots using round file.
Adapter plate installed on inlet manifold.
Holes filled with super filla or whatever it's called. Two part filler stuff anyway.
On the left - 2.0 throttle. On the right - 3.0 throttle. 10mm bigger.
Spring with coat hanger extension.
There you go.
Finished. Well sort off. Will be Dremeling the filler remnants some time soon and matching the inlet manifold to the throttle.
Been out for a test drive.
Feels better. A lot to do with me not fitting the mechanism that gears down the linkage for small angles. It does feel noticeably more eager. I'm very pleased. A bit more difficult to pull away from lights without stalling mind.
